AutMus Fest is bringing back the rock

Rudy Murillo | Aug 18, 2011

AutMus Fest is doing a 180 this year, and bringing down a rock headliner in Fuel. While last year's lineup was mostly Tejano and Latin acts, this year's is all types of rock.

Fuel, of course is the big name on the bill. They're well known for their hits "Shimmer", "Hemorrhage (In My Hands)" and "Bad Day". If you've been living under a rock for the past decade or so, here's a reminder.

The other big name in the lineup is no stranger to Laredo. Austin's Alpha Rev, who is currently one of VH1's "You Oughtta Know" bands, has played many times at Average Joe's here in Laredo.

Rounding out the lineup, are local bands Broken Vision, La Mata, Umano Ache and Erebus. Also, Laredo Wresting Alliance will be putting on special matches during the festival.

Presale tickets are $10 and are available at Danny's Restaurants, TAMIU bookstore, TAMIU Starbucks and online. Sounds like this is gonna be a great show.
